CHRISTMAS WINES

Are you looking for something special for Christmas? We have some suggestions.

8-Week Red
- Petit Verdot (Spain). Structured tannins give a dry red with real body.
- Amarone (Italy). Big, bold and luxurious.
- Rosso Grande (Italy). A full-bodied Ripasso Valpolicella. Likely to please everyone

8-Week White
- Chardonnay (Chile). A cool climate Chardonnay with citrus and acidity.
- Trio. This Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat is rich and fruity. Always popular.

6-Week Red
- Merlot (France). A cool climate Merlot with distinct violet notes. True sophistication.
- Valpola (Italy). Big and bold. A Valpolicella in all but name.

6-Week White
- Bella Bianco (Italy). A Soave. Bella is rich and aromatic with a clean acidic finish.
- Viognier Pinot Gris (Australia). Orchard & stone fruit. The wine Pinot Grigio drinkers should try.

Repeat from last month: We have often been asked if we carry botanicals. And we didn't. However, we have decided to offer small quantities of some of the harder to find or better quality botanicals, priced by the gram. Check of the Flavours page at the bottom.

If that is all a mystery to you, you can make your own gin by infusing juniper and other botanicals into vodka. Yes, we know you can buy gin at the LCBO, but it is a hobby thing...Bombay Gin, Plymouth Gin, Oude Genever.
