Nicole had been making jewellery, even before she landed at George Brown College Jewellery Arts Program. She started out making wire jewellery out of galvanized steel wire and wood beads selling them in the flower shop where she worked. Miraculously landing into the Jewellery Arts Program in 1996 she has been creating jewellery ever since.

Why the name ZEAL:
“It describes so perfectly how I feel about what I do”
ZEAL: Fervour in a cause, heart service, ardour, enthusiasm, fervency, fire, gusto, keenness, militancy, passion, spirit, verve, warmth, zest.

ASLEEP AT THE WHEEL POTTERY

Asleep at the Wheel Pottery features both functional and artist pottery pieces. Potter, Barbara Bakker has been ‘at the wheel’ since 2003 and has developed a distinct style.

Barbara is located near picturesque Rockport.
